Dolls 4 Tibet - Steiner-Inspired Global Friendship Doll 36cm Eva
As children have the need to identify themselves with their most cherished doll, they might prefer one resembling their own features. With this in mind, Dolls 4 Tibet have created beautiful dolls with different hair, skin and eye colour.
Eva has fair skin, green eyes and blonde hair which is braided and can be undone. She wears a summer dress, bloomers and an apron on top. All her clothing can be removed. Her skin is made of 100% cotton knit and her hair from recycled cotton mix yarn. Her clothing is mostly cotton. She is filled with 100% Himalayan sheep’s wool and so can only be sponge washed. Please do not soak her in water.

The seeds of Dolls 4 Tibet arose out of a family story. When Samdol Lhamo was two her German mother, Mona, and her Tibetan father, Karma Sichoe, were searching for a doll their daughter could culturally identify with. The only answer was for Mona to create one herself. They were inspired to provide a socially aware, supportive training and work environment for the most vulnerable women in the Tibetan refugee community. The motivation to create culturally relevant handicrafts came from their family’s deep commitment to the Tibetan cause.
